The SCGSA wants to take a moment to say thank you to A. Owen Smith for his years of service to the Board of Trustees. Mr. Smith has faithfully served the Board and has passed the torch to his replacement(s), Mr. Perry and Mr. Peeler, our two newest Board members (Note: upon the passing of Dr. Hancock, we have recently added two Board members.)

Members of the JDLH Board of Trustees are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate. The Board is charged with the school’s operation and management in accordance with its bylaws.
